Design Team Projects
The UBC Thunder Bikes design team is a passionate group of engineering students who build and race electric motorcycles. Recently, we competed in the Formula Lightning class in Salinas, California, showcasing our expertise and dedication to advancing sustainable transportation technologies. As the Battery Cooling and Thermal Management Lead on the Mechanical Team, I ensure our motorcycles operate at peak performance under rigorous conditions, contributing to our success on the track.

Hose Connectors
Bushings to link the various components of the cooling system together.

Battery Case Design and Manufacturing
I helped to design the 2023-2024 and 2024-2025 battery cases, primarily responsible for manufacturing.

Battery Cooling
Three cooling plates designed to remove heat from the batteries during motorcycle races.

Battery Cooling Fan and Filter
To cool the interior of the lower battery module, I developed a multi-fan and filter system.

Windtunnel Testing and Thermal Management
Training, design and manufacturing of a test rig, as well as thermal/fluid calculations were completed to optimize radiator cooling.
Personal Projects
This collection features a selection of personal projects that highlight my engineering related experience and relevant technical skills.

Automated Naloxone Injector
A device designed to combat the opioid crisis by administering 3 doses of naloxone.
Car Parking Sensor
A sensor designed to assist with forward-stall parking and alert the driver to any hidden obstacles within 1m of the bumper.
