  • Leading preparation of a ground-up motorcycle design for the MotoStudent International competition (Spain, 2027), developing system architecture, design milestones, and validation plans.
  • Leading and mentored a 20-member mechanical team, training new members in CAD, manufacturing processes, and engineering best practices across chassis, cooling, battery, and suspension sub-teams.
  • Directing end-to-end system development (concept → design → build → test → iterate), coordinating schedules, deliverables, and technical reviews to meet competition and project deadlines.

  • Led a 4-person subteam to design and manufacture a liquid cooling circuit and custom barbs, increasing system heat rejection to 16 kW (+41% YoY).
  • Designed and validated battery cooling plates, achieving 8 kW heat removal and reduced thermal gradients by modeling heat transfer in Python and MATLAB.
  • Developed CFD/FEA models in ANSYS Fluent/Mechanical to analyze airflow, conduction paths, and thermal performance, guiding geometry and material selection.
  • Coordinated fabrication and integration of cooling components, ensuring fit, serviceability, and safe operation within the battery enclosure.
